How do I install Claude Atoll?
Download the DMG file, open it, and drag Claude Atoll to your Applications folder. Since the app uses ad-hoc signing, macOS will show a Gatekeeper warning. To bypass it, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click "Open Anyway".
Why does macOS show a security warning?
Claude Atoll uses ad-hoc signing, which means you'll see a Gatekeeper warning. This isn't a security issue—it's simply because the app isn't notarized by Apple. To bypass the warning, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click "Open Anyway". You'll need to do this every time you update the app.
Is this application safe?
Yes. Claude Atoll requests Accessibility permission to monitor global mouse events—this is standard for apps like window managers and screenshot tools. Keychain access is optional and only used for token tracking; you can disable it in settings. The app is ad-hoc signed (not notarized), which causes the Gatekeeper warning, but this is simply a cost issue, not a security risk.
What macOS version do I need?
Claude Atoll requires macOS 15.6 (Sequoia) or later. The app uses modern SwiftUI features that are only available in the latest macOS versions.

Yes! Claude Atoll includes Sparkle for automatic updates. You'll be notified when new versions are available, and can update with one click.
